  • Tacha discusses Nigerians’ struggles in the UK, saying that life overseas is not always easy.

Tacha Akide, an influencer and reality TV star, has generated internet discussion after revealing her observations about the financial hardships faced by Nigerians residing in the UK.

The former BBNaija housemate, who is currently living in the UK, expressed in a recent video her belief that many Nigerians living overseas are not as financially secure as is generally believed.

Contrary to common assumption, Tacha said that because of the high cost of living in the UK, many Nigerians are barely making ends meet, and some are even living less comfortably than their Nigerian counterparts.

Tacha added that many Nigerians, in her opinion, are really living more comfortably than those outside, particularly given the growing cost of living in the UK.

“You see those of you always having inferiority complex in Nigeria, thinking everyone here is rich, most people here are broke. The most broke people I have met are actually the people I met in the UK. Everyone is holding themselves. It is expensive.”

“Trust me when I tell you that the living situation here is not rosy. In fact, most people in Nigeria are living better off than people actually living here. So if you want to move, go ahead, but not with the mentality of ‘oh, it’s all rosy.’ You see yourself spending 300k on a freaking taxi in a freaking day, 1 million on a car in a week unless you want to use the train. Think about your decision,” she said.

In a recent interview with Jusmen 105.7, Odumodublvck discussed his rivalry with Blaqbonez and said that Blaqbonez’s claim to be the greatest rapper is disrespectful to Nigerian rap icons.

He questioned, “Do you know what it means for you to claim that you are Nigeria’s best rapper?” “Stop making jokes. The best rapper isn’t you. M. Vector is the best rapper; I am the best. You would have taken home the Best Rap Album of the Year [at the Headies] if you were the greatest rapper. He remarked, “You weren’t even nominated for best rap single.”

“I’m not better than Phyno as a rapper. Look at his legacy. [There is]Olamide, Vector, M.I, Modenine, Ghost, Tec… So, for me to come and say I’m the best rapper, that means I’ve to be the best rapper. But if you’re not, Stop saying it. It’s getting on my nerves, bro. You can get smacked in the face for that kind of sh*t.

  • In a recent interview, Odumodublvck reveals an industry conspiracy against Rema, saying, “They told me to avoid him.”

The rapper, who is well-known for his gritty lyrics and unabashed attitude, claimed that despite numerous industry insiders telling him that competing with Rema’s drop would be a bad idea, he went with his gut and it turned out to be a wise decision.

“When people do stuff for you, you have to appreciate it. Because you don’t know where the favour is coming from. Look at now; they said don’t drop your song with Rema on the same day. I said why not? The same guy [Rema] sent me N40 million to shoot the Pity This Boy video. She said, “This is going to be pinpointed to Nigerian men. “Think twice before insulting a woman because she is growing gracefully and beautifully, it is not an insult to age, it’s a blessing.

“There is no shame in aging, aging is a privilege. I’d rather grow old than be six feet under with regrets. Some people have all the money in the world and still wish they had one more day to breathe. Don’t mock what you cannot understand, one day life will remind you.”
