Stanley Ajemba, also known as Stanley Ontop, is a well-known Nigerian filmmaker and activist who has finally been freed from police custody.
Stanley was taken into custody at the Delta State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Asaba on Tuesday, according to Gist 9ja.
Actress Queeneth Hilbeth, a colleague, filed a slander lawsuit against him, which led to his incarceration.
Social media users criticized the actor’s arrest and demanded his release.
The actor was reportedly detained for one night before being released on Wednesday night.
In a video posted to his Instagram profile, Stanley declared, “We are out, we’re out, we’re out!” to announce his freedom.
