Mercy Eke, a former Big Brother Naija champion, asserted that her victory in the fourth season of the reality show was for “all young women.”
Eke claimed that her win raised women’s spirits regarding reality shows in a recent interview with BellaNaija.
She also disclosed that she had no doubts about her achievement on the show.
“I was ready for the show. I was prepared. And I did it for all the young ladies who have been told they can’t after I won the show. “I did it for us all,” she said.
In 2019, Mercy Eke became the first woman to win the Big Brother Naija reality show.
Two other women have won the show since her historic victory: Ilebaye in 2023 and Phyna in 2022.
