After her untimely demise, an old video of Sommie Maduagwu, the late news anchor for Arise TV, has appeared online.
Sommie Maduagwu was assassinated by armed thieves who entered into her house just hours ago, according to press reports.
The recording, which went viral, is an interview with Sommie during her time as a beauty queen. After her NYSC, she went to London (“japa”) in search of better possibilities, but she still remained unfulfilled despite the money she was making there.
The late former beauty queen also mentioned her passion in politics and that she is the first daughter in her family, coming from Anambra state.
She claimed that although she felt a feeling of obligation as the eldest daughter, she was driven to change Nigeria.
