The well-known Nigerian comedian Bovi has now revealed the reasons behind his breakup with Basketmouth.
According to sources, the two well-known comedians used to work together on stage before their interests shifted.
However, Bovi ascribed the growth to his sense of financial freedom when he talked about his relationship with Basketmouth in a social media interview that went viral.
Bovi acknowledged that he could no longer share funds with his coworkers following cooperation, but he also pointed out that the move had given him the chance to improve his financial situation.
“Basketmouth and I are cool. Nothing happened. Interests changed. I wanted to focus more and spend more time with my family, and also to elevate myself.
“I easily get bored doing something for too long, so I try something else. As you know, I went back to TV because I wanted to build my own brand. When I host shows at Eko Hotels, it fills up. So, why should I go and share money? Why should we be many doing one show?” he asked.
