Afrobeats icon Mr. Innocent Idibia, also known by his stage as 2Baba, has received congratulations from President Bola Tinubu on his 50th birthday.
His Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, made this announcement on Friday in Abuja.
According to Tinubu, 2Baba has had a significant and lasting influence on Nigeria’s music industry.
He also praised his inventiveness, fortitude, and the unflinching spirit that characterizes Nigerians.
The president claims that for more than two decades, 2face proudly represented Nigeria abroad, inspired generations, and serenaded Nigeria and the rest of the globe with wonderful tunes.
“His legendary song, ‘African Queen’, remains an evergreen classic that introduced the beauty of African music to the world, placing Nigeria at the heart of the global entertainment map,” Tinubu stated.
