NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs is involved in a paternity issue, according to court filings, after model and influencer Aileen Lopera, also known online as Lord Gisselle, claimed he was the father of her infant daughter.
In December 2024, while pregnant, Lopera filed a petition in Los Angeles County, citing Diggs as the father, according to documents TMZ Sports was able to get. This year, in April, the child was born.
But in his July answer, Diggs denied certainty on the claim, saying he was “not certain” the girl was his and asking for genetic tests. Both parties have to submit to DNA testing as part of a stipulation signed by a judge on July 17, but it’s still unknown if the tests have been finished or what the results are.
“My client looks forward to the day Mr. Diggs acknowledges and provides for his infant daughter in Los Angeles,” Tamar Arminak, Lopera’s lawyer, told The U.S. Sun in a statement. When called on Thursday, Tullo Mumtaz, Diggs’ lawyer, declined to comment.
Diggs, who is currently with the New England Patriots, is expecting his first child with Cardi B, a rapper who made her pregnancy public on Wednesday. Diggs stated on social media that he hopes the baby is a boy, but he did not provide any other details while on duty with his squad.
From a prior relationship, the 30-year-old wide receiver already has a daughter, Nova, who is eight years old.
