In a heartfelt TikTok video posted on September 1, Nigerian content maker Jidex Klothing reported the passing of well-known comedian Sanku.
The devastating news follows earlier reports that Sanku was hurt in a horrific vehicle accident on Ogbomoso Road in Oyo State on Monday.
Jidex, who was clearly distraught, voiced his sorrow and claimed that the terrible news had debilitated him. He thought about how fleeting life is and how someone who left home in excellent health with the intention of returning could vanish forever.
The content creator claimed that although several passengers were hurt, Sanku and another person might not live because of the severity of the collision, based on an earlier video he provided that showed the wreckage of the involved vehicle.
Jidex Klothing expressed sorrow, pointing out that Sanku passed away a day after Phyna’s sister Ruth passed away yesterday, August 31, 2025.
He posted the video and wrote:
“Rest in peace 🪦 😣 Zanku comedy.”
