Stanley Ontop, a Nollywood filmmaker, recently made a statement regarding the widely circulated picture of Phyna looking as though she was in the hospital.
He disclosed that the image was not authentic but rather was shot from a film set in Asaba, where Phyna is now shooting.
Stanley Ontop clarified that the medical props, such as the drip and hospital gown, were costumes owned by a local team member and that the hospital scene was a part of a performance.
Stanley claimed that after seeing the photo was manufactured, he felt deceived into thinking she was indeed in the hospital.
He criticized Phyna for giving the wrong image, particularly when she was openly defended and backed by many.
He said that Phyna had never been admitted to a hospital and had only ever gotten modest care at her hotel, including drips and injections.
He was furious over what he called a conscious effort to sway public opinion, saying that such behavior might undermine credibility and confidence.
Stanley expressed his disappointment but promised to back Phyna’s fight for justice as long as she continues to tell the truth. He urged openness in his closing remarks, saying that her fans deserved truthfulness.
While sharing the video he said:
Phyna is not in any hospital oooo. The picture circulating online is from a movie scene. It’s fake as fock.
Watch the drip very closely and see. Even the hospital cloth she’s wearing is a costume owned by my member here in Asaba. Phyna should stop lying to us that she was hospitalised. She just took some drips and injections last night at her hotel… Just be telling us truth Phyna, we will still support you regardless… come and debunk the news that you’re in the hospital… It was a movie scene. You lied Phyna.
