According to Pere Egbi, a former Big Brother Naija reality star, one of his pals recently killed themselves as a result of cyberbullying.
The actor revealed this on Monday on his X Twitter, although he did not say if the incident took place in the US, where he is based, or Nigeria.
“I lost a friend today due to online bullying. Committed suicide. Smh. RIP champ. It is well,” he wrote.
remembers how Pere recently caused a stir when he asserted that the South African film industry is superior to Nollywood in terms of storyline, filmmaking, and work ethics.
He emphasized that there is still plenty that the Nigerian film business can learn from its South African equivalent.
