Nollywood actress Jemima Osunde has spoken out against women who think they should have their boyfriends’ money and who think they will only date or marry wealthy people.
She maintained that such a worldview is unattainable, particularly given the state of the economy today.
The movie star asked why women with this mindset dream of meeting or marrying wealthy people rather than earning their own money.
She pointed out that, contrary to what entitled women think, there aren’t enough billionaires for every woman to be a wealthy housewife.
Osunde advised women to pursue profitable endeavors rather than fantasizing about relying on a wealthy man.
“’Work his ass off for money’.
Wetin do your own ass? You don’t want to work? In this economy? It’s like some of you think we’re still living in Bible times.
My good sis, there’s not enough billionaires in the world for all of us to be housewives. You better go and look for work,” she wrote on her X handle.
