The autopsy results in the death of Atlanta rapper T-Hood, according to Gwinnett County authorities, have not revealed any new details beyond what was previously known. T-Hood was shot in the back, but the case is still being investigated as a potential self-defense shooting, officers informed TMZ.
On August 8, the rapper—whose true name has not been revealed in the reports—was shot and killed inside his house in Snellville, Georgia, in the United States. He was shot in the back, abdomen, buttocks, and both thighs, among other places, according to the county medical examiner’s office.
According to investigators, T-Hood and two other people got into a heated altercation before the shooting. According to the complaint, he pulled a gun during the altercation, which caused someone else to start shooting. The identity of the shooter has not been publicly confirmed.
Emergency responders rushed T-Hood to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. At the time of his death, he was dating Kelsie Frost, the daughter of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” stars Kirk and Rasheeda.
Police initially responded to the scene after receiving a call about a domestic dispute. Since then, investigators have identified Kelsie’s brother, Ky Frost, as a primary suspect. Authorities have not filed charges, saying they are still working to determine if the shooting qualifies as self-defense, though the fact that T-Hood was struck in the back complicates that claim.
Furthermore, documents reveal that this was not the couple’s first run-in with the police. According to a March 2025 report that TMZ was able to get, Kelsie informed police that during a fight after a night out, T-Hood had taken her Mercedes-Benz and a Mac Mini computer without her permission.
