A transsexual lady is on trial for allegedly hiding her male genitalia from a man she was dating, which is considered sexual ass@ult.
A court heard that after exchanging conversations on Snapchat, Ciara Watkin, 21, allegedly stayed the night with the man. The jury was informed by prosecutor Paul Reid that Watkin engaged in sex acts with the guy but denied him contact, stating that she was menstruating.
He first inquired as to whether she was pregnant when Watkin messaged him to divulge a “massive secret” following their meeting. Then Watkin revealed: “I identify as transgender. I apologize for not telling you. According to reports, the man responded, “WTF. You have a d***, then? and went on, “OMFG. Before calling the police, I said, “I feel ill.”
Mr Reid said: “The defendant had concealed from the man that she had a p3nis during their brief relationship. The man told the police that if he had known Watkin was transgender, he would not have consented. He said: ‘I don’t swing that way.’”
The court heard that prior to the contact, there had been no conversation regarding gender or s3xuality, and that Watkin’s Snapchat profile had a female cartoon avatar. “Me and him had s3x without me telling him I was a boy,” Watkin allegedly said police when he was taken into custody. He didn’t like it when I told him that I was a different gender.
“She agreed that s3xual activity had taken place,” Mr. Reid continued.
Two counts of s3xual ass@ult and one count of s3xual ass@ult by penetration are denied by Watkin, of Thornaby, Teesside.
