Over the course of six months, creative video director ThankGod Omori Jesam, often known as TG Omori, has considered the enormous expenses associated with maintaining his health.
Omori, who suffered from kidney problems a few months ago, wrote in a series of posts on X that the costs alone could pay for not one but several luxury cars, including a tiny C-Class 300 and two Mercedes-GLEs.
In light of this, TG Omori reiterated the proverb that goes, “Health is wealth.” He wrote:
“Saw my 6months health expenses, Omo 2 GLE and one small C300 bro! Health is wealth true true.”
He went into further detail and revealed that the crushing cost of each dialysis treatment is more than 100,000 naira. In contrast to the usual minimum pay of just ₦70,000 in Nigeria, if an individual needs three sessions per week, that comes to well over ₦300,000 each week.
While still in the hospital, Omori reported that this made him cry because he realized that the average person had no chance in such a situation.
In light of this, Omori revealed that he is using his imagination to do something worthwhile.
He disclosed that when his first significant spectacles design is out, a percentage of the sales will benefit those with kidney disease who cannot afford dialysis.
