“Nigerian Lady Sparks Debate: Husband Must Accept My Mother or No Marriage”

Ngozi Helen, a Nigerian woman, has threatened to file for divorce from her husband if he forbids her from taking her mother into their home for care.

She made this statement on Monday in response to a communication that Ifeanyi Nwosu received from a guy who said that his wife had refused to care for his ailing mother and had instructed him to take her to the home of his older sister.

She added, “On God, I will divorce my husband without a second thought if he refuses to let me bring my mother into our home to care for her.”
