On his wedding day, Afrobeats sensation David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, wore custom made cufflinks featuring his late son Ifeanyi Adeleke as a poignant homage to him.
The musician posted a picture of the precious item from his opulent white wedding to longtime girlfriend Chioma Rowland in Miami, Florida, on his Instagram story on Sunday.
claims that in 2024, the white wedding took place after their customary ceremony and drew well-known figures from Nigeria’s entertainment, governmental, and commercial communities.
Several musicians who had previously attended the couple’s pre-wedding meal, like as Adekunle Gold, Teni, and Zlatan Ibile, were also drawn to the Miami event.
Davido talked about how extravagant the ceremony was, revealing that it cost an incredible $3.7 million.
“We spent $3.7m in cash. You should know what we are doing. It’s crazy,” he said.
