Farida Sultana Auduson Ibrahim, often known as Sultana, a housemate on Big Brother Naija 10/10, has disclosed that she prefers Islam to Christianity.
The 25-year-old plus-size model revealed that although she was raised by a Christian mother and a Muslim father, she chose to follow Islam since it “works best” for her.
She revealed that before to her conversion to Islam, she was a Catholic who was baptized as Josephine.
She revealed this in a conversation with Zita, a roommate, on Wednesday evening.
Zita: “Are your parents strict Muslims?”
Sultana: “No, I grew up going to both church and mosque, my mom is a Christian. At some point I got baptized in Catholic, my baptismal name is Josephine. I just decided to choose the religion that works best for me, which is Islam.”
Sultana’s mother is a Christian from Yala, Cross River State, and her father is a Muslim from Adamawa State.
