Afeez Fashola, popularly known on social media as Naira Marley, is a Nigerian singer who just posted a sample of a song on his Instagram story.
‘YanYanYan’, a 2022 song starring Mayorkun, with lyrics that focused on being streetwise and not putting too much trust in other people.
The lyrics read:
“How can you trust a ho, Never ever ever trust a ho, Shey she break your heart ni, Shey o mo pe won ma gbe omoba fo shu shu ni, Olosho is a goal, At the same time, Never ever trust a ho jara e, Ko si owo ko s’obo Mora dodo mo fe kpa mo ni dodo ni dodo.”
Naira Marley also asked whether a woman could lead Islamic prayer in a tweet that seemed to be taken from a song.
The posts by Naira Marley follow the reactions caused by Stella Dimokokorkus, a well-known blogger, who claimed that Wunmi, the late Mohbad’s wife, had conducted several secret DNA tests. Influencers on X who posted tweets on purported rumors that claimed a DNA test verified Liam’s identity as Mohbad’s kid were also criticized by VeryDarkMan.
