
Following the viral success of his online interview, Nigerian rapper Olamide Adedeji, better known online as Olamide, has evoked sentiments of nostalgia.
During a recent interview, the beloved rapper talked about his deceased parents.
When asked who he misses most in life, he first mentioned his parents. He claims that he misses being able to hear his parents’ voices whenever he pleases. His father used to work on the island while the family stayed on the mainland, the Hello Habibi crooner continued.
He clarified that his father would get up at around five in the morning every day to go to work and, throughout his twenty years of employment, never let his kids know that he was having difficulties.
The musician who gave Peller the money weeks ago said that even though he was under a lot of stress, his father would only sleep for five hours every day and never showed them how hurt he was.
Many responded by applauding the musician for his sincere remarks, pointing out that he was reared well and obviously loved his parents very much. Others noted that Davido also used to talk positively about his late mother.
