The sensation of Afrobeats After Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), a social media pundit, denied receiving financial help from David Adeleke, better known as Davido, Davido has finally responded.
After VDM claimed in a widely shared video that, against popular assumption, Davido never paid for his hotel or travel during their famous meeting in Lagos, the amicable conversation started.
VDM claims that a lot of critics frequently use this presumption against him anytime he discusses Davido, particularly when his viewpoints conflict with fan narratives. He maintained that the singer did not sponsor him in any way at that time.
Davido briefly replied to this on Instagram with a since-deleted comment.
He wrote in a composed yet direct message:
“@davido SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT. If you see it as an insult, the aluta continua. Love always from my end (I no be anybody’s boy still)! RATEL”
