The premiere of the official music video for “Save Me,” the lead single from the original soundtrack album To Kill A Monkey, has created a lot of attention online thanks to Nigerian award-winning director Kemi Adetiba.
Days after announcing the coming of the eagerly anticipated visuals, Adetiba finally unveiled the official music video for the poignant song by Nigerian music icon 2Baba on Wednesday, July 30.
In Save Me, 2Baba showcased his musical abilities while narrating a tale that complemented the dramatic and intense moments in the To Kill A Monkey series. The lead track also included 2Baba and Oscar Heman-Ackah, Adetiba’s Ghanaian spouse and music producer.
Sharing a snippet of the music video on her page, Kemi Adetiba wrote in a caption, “KAV presents, the lead single and music video “SAVE ME” by @oscarhemanackah & @official2baba … As featured on the “TO KILL A MONKEY” Official Soundtrack Album…”
