Nigerian singer Ayra Starr is expected to become “the world’s biggest pop star” in the near future, according to Chris Martin, lead vocalist of the well-known British band Coldplay.
When he brought the Afrobeats artist onstage during the band’s recent Music Of All Spheres tour at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, he made the prediction.
“This is Ayra Starr from Nigeria. She is going to be the world’s biggest pop-star so soon,” the multiple Grammy-winner said
At the event, which was attended by Lionel Messi of Inter Miami and his wife Antonela, Ayra Starr played her new song, “Hot Body,” as well as her collaboration with Coldplay, “Good Feelings.”
Ayra Starr, meantime, has refuted reports that a provision in her most recent five-year deal with Roc Nation prohibited her from dating or having children for the term of the agreement, according to Gist9ja.
The “Sability” singer responded to the allegations on her X handle by stating that she was unaware of the condition in her contract.
