Nkechi Blessing, an actress from Nollywood Sunday has disclosed the reason behind her acting hiatus.
The movie star revealed that someone anonymously put her on a ₦1 million weekly income because she wasn’t making much money from performing during a recent edition of Curiosity Made Me Ask, which was presented by content producer Bae U Barbie.
She clarified that the unidentified person’s gesture was the reason she chose to take a vacation from Nollywood.
“Someone anonymously put me on a ₦1 million weekly salary because I wasn’t getting paid enough for movie roles — that’s why I took a break from acting. I can’t shoot a movie and I might not even make up to ₦1 million profit from it,” the actress stated.
However, when the host asked if the individual was still anonymous, Nkechi Blessing chose not to answer.
She answered, “It’s not your business.”
