As he visits a native shrine, Nigerian street-hop artist Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, better known by his stage name Portable, has taken a drastic turn in his ongoing conflict with social media activist Verydarkman.
This comes after Verydarkman’s diss tune, in which he calls the artist “Ole,” accuses him of stealing.
The social media activist’s publication of a video purportedly connecting Portable to a tricycle theft case sparked the dispute.
Due to the intense online debates triggered by the video, both parties publicly ridiculed one another on social media and released diss recordings.
According to reports, the street-hop artist petitioned the authorities to arrest Verydarkman for allegedly engaging in cyberbullying and defamation.
However, a fresh video of Potable visiting a traditional shrine went viral online a few days after his police complaint.
In the video, Portable was seen pleading for the help of a native physician and claiming that Verydarkman and others had ruined his name by branding him a thief.
