Sean Tizzle, a singer, has paid respect to Sound Sultan, a colleague who passed away from cancer in July 2021.
Tizzle referred to the late music icon as his mentor and expressed regret for not informing Sultan of the significant influence he had on his life and career before to his death.
He clarified that because he was “fearful they wouldn’t be enough,” it took him years to find “the right words” to honor the late great.
He said that long before the world realized his potential, Sound Sultan had recognized his brilliance and helped him.
According to the “Shole” crooner, Sound Sultan taught him “humility, grace, and the importance of using my voice for more than just melodies” in addition to music.
“The late singer was a selfless person who gave without expecting anything in return,” he said.
“I wish I had said this earlier, to your face. I wish I had hugged you tighter. But now, I say it to the world: Thank you, Sound Sultan. I am because you were. I carry your spirit with me always,” Sean Tizzle added in a lengthy Instagram post.
