After Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VDM, released a song about him, street pop artist Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, better known by his stage name Portable, posted videos showing his behavior.
As both artists released diss tracks directed at one another, their feud intensified. VDM published a video of Portable being thrashed and called him a thief in his song.
In retaliation, Portable took his complaints to his former record label boss’ house in addition to releasing his own diss track. He staged a protest with security guards by his side and demanded that his boss, Ija Omode, assist in identifying the attackers.
The musician named Razak, Azeez, and Ijadun Egbe as the offenders in the video that VDM posted, and he offered his former boss a 24-hour ultimatum. Portable threatened to take revenge if I didn’t comply with his demands.
