Ikechukwu Darry Ogbonna, also known as IVD, is a celebrity car trader who has come forward to confront the claims that he was responsible for his late wife Bimbo Ogbonna’s death.
He recently shared his version of what happened before Bimbo passed away on Instagram, calling the accusations a deliberate attempt to discredit him.
He claims that Bimbo attempted to hurt herself during a domestic argument and also attempted to hurt him. Since there are no gates around his compound, he said that neighbors at their home in Megamound Estate, Ikota, saw the occurrence.
He said that in an effort to preserve her life, he took her to multiple hospitals and did his best to assist her. He claimed that in spite of these efforts, others who were not at the scene depicted him as a killer.
He said that several people, including Bimbo’s sister, had hired bloggers and disseminated untrue information online in an effort to harm his reputation. Additionally, he said that proof of a targeted smear effort, including payment receipts and private discussions, had now surfaced.
IVD considered the psychological and emotional toll the entire experience had taken on him and disclosed that it caused him to lose faith in relationships and love.
He did, however, give thanks to Blessing CEO, his current spouse, for restoring stability and tranquility to his life. He conveyed his appreciation for her presence and assistance throughout his recuperation.
Additionally, he brought up a woman from Abuja, claiming that she had a negative influence on his life and hurt him and his kids. Additionally, he gave thanks to God for his eventual vindication.
IVD concluded his article by stating that he is prepared to move forward and that he has once again found happiness with the CEO of Blessing.
