
During a recent live performance, Tems, a Nigerian music singer, delighted her fans with more than just her deep voice. She also shared a humorous and endearing anecdote that had the audience in laughter.
The singer approached a fortunate male guest to engage in a closer conversation while serenading listeners from the platform. But what was supposed to be a seamless encounter took a funny turn when she asked the fan for a few personal details.
The fan gave Tems his name and place of origin while remaining calm and obviously excited. The question of age then arose.
He said: “I’m 22.”
Visibly surprised, Tems paused for a time before grinning, as if he wasn’t sure if he should carry with the int*mate serenade.
The young man observed her hesitancy and promptly reassured her with one of the most polished responses of the evening:
“It’s okay, I like older women.”
