
Malcolm-Jamal Warner, a former cast member of The Cosby Show, has passed away.
Warner perished off the coast of Costa Rica on Sunday at the age of 54, according to ABC News on Monday.
Warner died from asphyxia, according to the local police, close to the Cocles beach in Limón.
Warner’s body was discovered on Sunday afternoon after he was sucked into a rip current in the ocean.
The birthdate of Warner was August 18, 1970.
In 1982, he appeared on television for the first time in the show Matt Houston.
He most recently starred in The Resident, a medical drama on Fox.
