Ayo Maff has been sued by the TunesBid record company for allegedly breaking their recording contract.
The label accused the artist and his management of violating the terms of the December 2023 contract in a statement posted on its Instagram page.
The label claimed to have provided funding for Maff’s tracks “Street Anthem,” “Dealer,” and “7 Days.” obtaining for him an agreement with Empire Distribution for distribution.
The label insisted that Ayodele Maff was still bound by her contract, even though it warned entertainment companies and show promoters to stop working with the singer or risk legal action.
“Tunesbid Limited, following a series of discussions, entered an Exclusive Recording Agreement with ‘Ayo Maff’ on December 3, 2023, with the Artist’s legal team Oyefeso Oluwamayowa Olumide, Okolie Amobi Chiedu, and Oyefeso Ayotunde representing OceansTreasure Limited.
“The contract had a stipulated period agreed upon which includes the release of his three singles all fully funded by Tunesbid Limited within the first 7 months of the agreement. The singer and his management teams had continued conniving to defraud Tunesbid by entering a dishonourable contract”.
