Anita Natasha Akide, better known by her stage name Tacha, is a reality TV personality who has expressed interest in a future in politics.
The BBNaija star, who was born and raised in Port Harcourt, recently spoke with Ebuka about how disappointed he is with the state of Rivers State and its unrealized potential.
Tacha expressed her opinions on the value of youth participation in governance, emphasizing underutilized skills and opportunities.
She said, “When I look at other states like Abuja and Lagos, and I see how far they’ve come, and with the potential Rivers State has, they’re not trying to exploit it. It’s just very disappointing because there are so many youths, so many talents there, so many things that if the government can see light into, a lot can happen.”
She said that rather than criticizing from the outside, it is more beneficial to actively participate in the government to bring about change.
In response to a question regarding her political goals, Tacha stated that she is working on a project and will provide more information when it is 70% complete.
Tacha said, “It is something I’m working on. I’ll have to make it 70% done before I can talk about it, because it does not make sense granting interviews like this, talking about the government without being involved.”
Aiming for 150 people, the reality TV star also stated her plan to try to break the world record for the most makeup done in a 24-hour period.
