Oluwafisayo Isa, better known by her stage name Darkoo, is a British-Nigerian rapper and musician who has said that she is prepared to bear children.
But she stated that she does not wish to bear children in her womb.
The vocalist of “Favourite Girl,” who came out as lesbian years ago, stated that she would rather have her partner bear the child.
“At this point in my life, I’m considering having children,” Darkoo stated in an interview with Madame Joyce. Though I don’t want to bear the child in my womb, I think I would make a fantastic mother. I’ll have my partner carry it.
She emphasized that mothering is about loving and caring for a child, and that being a mother is more than only blood ties.
Darkoo stated in 2024 that she felt lighter after disclosing her sexual orientation to her parents.
The queer artist claimed that after disclosing her sexual orientation to her mother, she has been happier.
