In a UK hospital, Dr. Kandibe, the younger sister of Hollywood star Chiwetel Ejiofor, responded to the swearing-in of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Kandibe claimed that the late former president’s choice to seek medical attention overseas conveys the incorrect impression about Nigeria’s healthcare system in a post on her Instagram account on Monday, July 14.
“Served as Nigerian president for 8 years! D!ed in a UK hospital. What a shame he couldn’t do anything for the state of healthcare in Nigeria…even he carried himself abroad to treat himself. What a message,” the mother of three wrote.
“Patiently waiting for a president that will build systems in Nigeria, that they are proud of will patronage.”
