Social media has gone crazy after Nigerian businessman and self-described cryptocurrency tycoon Linus Williams, also known as BLord, revealed that he has an astounding $300 million in net worth.
In a recent interview, BLord revealed how he used cryptocurrency, particularly bitcoin, to build his business over the course of eight years.
The interviewer questioned during the in-person conversation:
Can you actually tell me what your net worth is in dollars?”
BLord confidently replied:
“I would say 300 million dollars. It wasn’t a quick thing. It took about 8 years.”
The businessman claims that it took some time for him to get wealthy. He clarified that wise cryptocurrency investments over the years were the driving force behind the fortune’s gradual and steady arrival. He went on to say:
“I made my money from bitcoin. It didn’t just happen. It took consistency, time and risk”
Some of his admirers were amazed by the discovery, but it also sparked more criticism from those who believed that BLord had not spent his fortune on his wife’s family, who should have benefited most from it.
A few days ago, after sharing a photo during a trip to his in-laws in Nnobi, Anambra State, BLord faced harsh criticism. People on social media were quick to draw attention to the house’s terrible condition in the background.
Many wondered why someone who was supposedly rich hundreds of millions of dollars would let his in-laws live in such a place.
