VDM Interviews Mohbad’s Friend Spending, Seeks new truth to The Late Singer’s Death

Nigerian social media personality and activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly called Verydarkman, has revealed another side of the story concerning late Mohbad’s death.

In an interview with Spending, one of Mohbad’s friends, Spending revealed that at the Ikorodu show, when Mohbad was in the car with his friends, Mohbad complained that he wanted to leave, that he couldn’t stand the delay, but his friends, as well as Prime Boy, told him not to, as he is a celebrity and he needs to wait till the hoodlums outside are settled; he can then leave.

Spending supported the claim that Prime Boy never raised a hand on Mohbad; rather, it was Mohbad who threw him punches, saying, “No dey put mouth for my matter.”

Spending also added that when Mohbad got upset and came down from the car after the driver also told him not to, he was at the back of the car with PrimeBoy, and he only heard the sound of a hand breaking the glass of the Prado and saw PrimeBoy running, with other friends of Mohbad in the other car thinking PrimeBoy was in a fight with Mohbad.

Spending, when asked by VDM what led to him calling a nurse for Mohbad in the house, revealed that Mohbad already got a cut on his arm from the hand he hit against the glass, adding that PrimeBoy was supported by Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi, who said, “Shebi na both of una start together, you no suppose dey treat PrimeBoy like that.” This got Mohbad upset, who told Wunmi to get out of the car as well.

Spending revealed how Wunmi and the late Mohbad got into an altercation, as Wunmi was already dragging Mohbad’s clothes by his neck, while they both revealed a lot about each other, with Mohbad accusing Wunmi’s parents of using “SCOPE” to avoid paying back the money he lent to them, calling them “Broe a** Ni**.”

Spending also divulged his plans to repay her the money she sent to his parents, saying he has plans to travel abroad. to four states precisely, and he was going to be worth more than 400 USD. He added to Wunmi that “It’s done for you all.”

Still in his explanation, Spending revealed that Wunmi reminded Mohbad that it was a woman that ended Lil Frosh’s career, and she would end his own career as well. He said that Wunmi got upset and went upstairs in the house, while he had Wunmi’s baby, Liam carried.

He called DJ Bami, Og, Adura, and Adewest as names he last saw in the house before he left Mohbad’s house.

When asked by VDM what he thinks killed him, Spending said the cut was a minor thing that could have led to Mohbad’s death. Spending also said that Mohbad was not a strong drinker but takes “laughing gas” to get high every day.

VDM asked Spending what he thinks about the video showing Wunmi’s face swelling, if they fought, but he said he didn’t know anything about it.
