Nancy Nnadi, better known as Coach Nancy, the managing director of EeZee Conceptz Limited, revealed that negotiations are still in progress to resolve the royalties dispute with Mercy Chinwo.
Nancy stated this when she took back her purportedly disparaging remarks about Chinwo.
Mercy Chinwo, a well-known gospel singer, brought her former record label boss, Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, also known as Eezee Tee, to court in January 2025 over the diversion of $345,000 in music royalties.
The change occurred two years after she broke off her relationship with the EeZee Conceptz record company because of a financial dispute.
Nancy Nnadi, the record label’s managing director, accused Chinwo of financial malfeasance throughout the legal battle.
In response to the accusation, Mercy Chinwo sued Nnadi for defamation and sought that the posts be taken down from her social media accounts and that Nnadi issue a public apology.
But in a message that was posted over the weekend on her Instagram page, Nancy Nnadi denied the accusations made against the musician.
Nnadi mentioned that renowned religious leaders are assisting in the current peace settlement between the label and Chinwo, and prayed that God would perfect the process.
“On the advice of my lawyer, and for the sake of peace and love of God, I retract my earlier post about Minister Mercy Chinwo. As well pray that Almighty God perfects ongoing settlement process being facilitated by the Fathers of Faith between her and EeZee Conceptz,” she wrote.
