On social media X, formerly known as Twitter, Nigerian international performer Davido Adeleke, better known by his stage as Davido, has created a lot of buzz.
On Monday, July 7, Davido, who recently posted images and videos of himself and his wife, Chioma Adeleke, traveling in a private plane before his music tour, made a brief appearance on X.
“Happy Metal,” the head of the DMW label stated in a now-viral tweet. The tweet from the DMW artist was sent on July 7, which some people observe as “World Davido Day” or “Davido Day” to honor his musical talents.
According to earlier reports, Sylvester Turner, the mayor of Houston, Texas, caused a stir on the internet in 2023 when he announced that July 7 would be a yearly celebration of Davido’s remarkable accomplishments.
The declaration was made shortly before the Afrobeat superstar’s performance in Houston’s Toyota Arena, which has 40,000 seats, began, and the video footage that surfaced online were breathtaking.
On July 7, Houston, Texas, formally proclaimed it to be “Davido Day.” Some social media users, however, have connected the message to the “Neo Black Movement of Africa.”
