Davido’s manager, Asa Asika has said that Afrobeat as a genre would have been bigger than what it is, and ticket sales would be in its maximum if Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid collaborated.
During an interview session, he said “If Davido, Wizkid and everybody who was popping at that point we were all collaborating, i might be wrong but the probability of our genre being bigger and even successful and even little things like ticket values at shows been stronger would be a thing”
This comes as Davido plans his 5ive Alive Album tour, while Burna Boy plans his “No sign of Weakness” album release this year.
