Martins Vincent Otse, also known as Verydarkman, is a social media activist who has addressed claims that he has had romantic relationships with multiple policewomen. A well-known blogger made the charges, claiming that the activist’s supposed connections to police personnel were the reason he was involved in the case of the late Mohbad.
The blogger posted a video of Sam Larry using a cane to interrupt Mohbad’s music video shoot.
The activist responded by offering a prize of N10 million to anyone who could supply additional video footage and N2 million to anyone who could put him in touch with the women in the video.
In response to the accusations, Verydarkman explained that the majority of the policewomen he was purportedly associated with are Security Agency Public Relations Officers (PROs).
He called the Federal Capital Territory’s (FCT) PRO, Josephine Adeh, and uploaded a photo of her. He addressed the claims when she picked up, and she denied them, saying that only a guilty person would be troubled by such rumors.
The PRO then gave an update on a case involving a guy who had contacted him after VDM questioned the officer about it.
The activist conjectured that she might have upset someone and implied that the individuals circulating rumors about him must be from her office. He went on to say that he has heard similar statements before.
Additionally, Verydarkman discussed his relationships with other police PROs in Akwa Ibom, Abuja, and Port Harcourt, claiming that some of them were working on his cases.
He also remarked on how attractive the women he works with are, making the joke that if he dated any of them, nothing would happen. VDM remarked that he was specifically looking to politicians for financial support. He stated that he anticipated the All Progressives Congress (APC) will provide the funding.
After months of speculation on Verydarkman’s sexual orientation, this is the first time he has been connected to a female.
He was suspected of being gay and exclusively interested in guys a few months ago. But lately, he posted a video of a woman’s leg, which caused his fans to respond.
