Content creator and comedia Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekiru, popularly called Sabinus has officially come out to apologize to Wizkid and his fans on Tik Tok
According to the content creator he said. He wouldn’t mean to insult a big musician like Wizzy, adding that he was a legend as well.
He said, “why i go come dey insult a top musician, a legend for that matter. E no make sense na”
He added that “One of my biggest platform was given to me by a musician, which is Burna Boy. So why will i want to insult another big legend like Wizkid. It doesn’t make sense na!. So abeg make una no vex”
This comes following late June 2025, where Nigerian content creator and comedian Sabinus sparked controversy, during a live performance, he responded to the audience’s call for Wizkid with a sharp retort: “Wizkid, fk you” where the crowd seemed to be chanting for Davido instead, which prompted his remark
That outrageous line immediately triggered outrage from Wizkid’s loyal fanbase. Reports surfaced that Wizkid fans threatened to take down Sabinus’s social media accounts (TikTok, Instagram) in retaliation just as how Carter Efe’s IG and Tik Tok account was taken down by Wizkid Fans some days ago.
