After sharing his ideas on long-distance relationships in a humorous video on social media, rapper and actor Falz the Bahd Guy made people giggle.
Falz stated in his distinctively humorous accent that he doesn’t think it’s a good idea to date someone who lives far away, especially in a different time zone.
He pointed out that any connection would be shattered by the time difference alone, as he is currently in Canada.
“I just checked time in Lagos now, seven hours ahead,” he said. “Okay, let’s say I’m having a girlfriend there now. We want to sleep. I want to chat. I want to chat. You want to sleep.”
Using his trademark mix of sarcasm and common Nigerian humor, he jokngly performed a common cry for long-distance lovers:
“We’ll now be on the phone like this, deceiving ourselves:
‘Ah, baby, I miss you.’
‘No, I miss you more.’
‘No, I miss you more.’
‘Baby, I want to sleep.’
