According to Nigerian musician Young John, he feels financially intimidated by his coworker Davido.
This was disclosed by the “Go Hard Or Go Home” singer in response to a query during a side interview at Paris Fashion Week in France.
He clarified that he is also motivated to work harder by OBO’s achievement.
Interviewer: “Ever met someone that made you feel broke?”
Young John: “Too many times, bro. Davido. Whenever I see his money, I’m like, I need to work hard and drop more songs.”
Young John disclosed in 2024 that he never intended to pursue a career in music, stating that he became a singer by chance.
Young John began working as a producer for Olamide’s YBNL Nation label, producing several successful songs for Lil Kesh, Olamide, and other singers.
