

In a recent tweet, Nigerian comedian and sketch creator Shank called Nigeria “too toxic” and “sickening,” sparking an online backlash.
The content creator used X (previously Twitter) to vent his displeasure about the situation in Nigeria while he was in the US for Kai Cenat’s Streamers University program.

He said: “Nigeria is too too toxic man. Sickening.”
Since then, there have been conflicting responses, with many people doubting his timing and motivation. A user going by the handle “Grandson” called him out shortly after his tweet went viral.
One replied: “You never even reach 6 months for that side, u don Dey enter us”
A user, @cruiseoracle, wrote: “Normally… Once blind man see, the first thing wey e dey do na to throw stick wey dey help am since. Lol. You get right to talk anything, you earn am.” But not everyone was sympathetic.
@futbalglobal fired back: “You’re sick in your brain. This same Nigeria made you what you are today.”
