Nelly Mbonu, a former housemate from Big Brother Naija Season 9, stated that she thinks her bond with her husband, Kellyrae, was severed by her coworker, Kassia.
During the reality show, Nelly and Kellyrae were good friends, especially before he told the housemates they were married, according to reports.
In the most recent episode of the reality program reunion, Nelly discussed the current status of her friendship with Kellyrae and accused Kassia of being the reason behind it.
She clarified that after Kassia lied to her, she and Kassia had a falling out on the show. She revealed that Kassia had told her that Onyeka had made a comment about her, but she later discovered that this had merely been a dream.
“It never for once felt like me and Kellyrae had issues,” she said.
The host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, asked: “So, when did you notice [his change of attitude towards you]?”
Nelly replied, “Obviously, it’s the wife.”
Kassia protested, “Hmm? You stopped talking to him. What do you mean by, ‘obviously, it’s the wife’?”
Nelly fumed, “Can you shut up and let me speak? … Anyways, like I was saying, the wife obviously had issues with me in the house [on the show] because I told Onyeka you said something that you told me Onyeka told you. That thing you told me, you were so confident that Onyeka told you that Onyeka told you that. You never told me that it was your instincts.”
Kassia inferred, “I said two things. Onyeka said the first one, the second one was my instincts. Maybe you didn’t understand.”
