
According to Nigerian Afrobeats musician Anthony Ebuka Victor, better known by his stage name Victony, his childhood was stolen by his struggles.
remembers how Victony barely survived an automobile accident in 2021 that claimed one life and damaged three more. He spent around a year in a wheelchair as a result of the injuries.
After surviving the vehicle accident, the singer rose to fame after his popular song, Holy Father, featuring Mayorkun, was released.
Reflecting on the experience, Victony wrote on X, “My troubles stole my youth.”
In another post, Victony disclosed that he has been sober for the past three months.
He wrote, “3 months sober, Glory.”
In order to give his audience a genuine experience, Victony recently disclosed that he has never performed live without drinking. However, he is aiming to change that with his Stubborn tour.
