The legendary Nigerian musician Daddy Showkey has disclosed how Alabi Pasuma, a fuji musician provided for his family for three years.
When Pasuma joined Daddy Showkey on stage at his recent live performance at a celebrity event, he made this public.
In a social media video that went viral, the musician revealed that when he suffered an accident in 2007, Pasuma was the sole friend who helped him.
Speaking about the situation, Daddy Showkey revealed that Pasuma took up his family’s responsibilities when he was hospitalized for three years due to a deadly accident.
He said that many of his acquaintances and coworkers refused to assist him, even when he went to their homes following the incident, and that Pasuma was his only buddy in the sector.
“You see, this man, he stood by me during bad times and good times. Many people didn’t see me in public or sing for years because I had an accident in 2007. I was in the hospital for three years. Pasuma was the one taking care of my family. I can never forget him in my life.
“After I recovered, I visited others, but they didn’t give me the opportunity to see them not to talk of helping. When I got to their houses, they would tell me that they were not around even when they were inside the house,” Daddy Showkey said.
