Jokingly addressing King Solomon, Ayra referred to the chapter as “depressing” and questioned the abrupt change in tone from urging wisdom to stating that “everything is meaningless.”
Ayra posed the following query after reading Ecclesiastes 3:19, which contrasts the fates of humans and animals:
