Contentious In a new video, Nigerian musician Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, better known by his stage name Portable, has rekindled his battle with Nollywood actress Laide Bakare.
The two have been engaged in a continuous internet feud during which they have insulted each other about a variety of topics.
Portable aggressively declared in the most recent video that he knew the actress was no longer married and that he wanted to have sex with her. After a while, he stopped using the appellation “Aunty Laide” to refer to Bakare, wondering why he was still treating her with such deference.
After that, he called her by name and asserted that she couldn’t smack him. The head of Zeh Nation also criticized Laide for referring to herself as a celebrity despite supposedly lacking the financial means to cover the concert, accusing her of inviting him to it without paying him.
The actress was also reminded by Portable that she initiated the conflict by calling Nigerians who traveled to Libya “call girls.” He claims that he wouldn’t have pulled actress Laide back if she hadn’t spoken those things.
This public dispute comes after Laide Bakare attacked Portable in an earlier exclusive interview with Legit.ng, calling him a “dirty boy from Sango” and asserting that she had never met him before.
She further emphasized that she had changed her mind about inviting him after trying to get in touch with him, and she refuted the claims that she sought to get him to perform at her performance for free.
