This occurs soon after the artist and his buddy Martins Vincent Otse, better known by his stage as Verydarkman, got into a public argument.
Davido’s status as one of Africa’s top stars is cemented by his Instagram profile, which validates the new accomplishment. He is now the most followed singer on the continent, surpassing other African musicians with 30 million followers.
Wizkid, who is well-known for songs like “Morayo,” is in second position with 18.1 million followers, and Burna Boy is in third place with 17.9 million. With 19.1 million fans, female artist Tiwa Savage also establishes herself as the second most popular Nigerian artist.
In terms of Instagram popularity, other well-known African musicians, such as Tyla (11.5 million followers) and Fally Pupa (5.9 million followers), lag well behind their Nigerian rivals.
