According to reports, the police in Abuja have apprehended a man named Gabriel Timothy, also called Official Tuma, after receiving a plea from Ned Nwoko, a politician and husband of Regina Daniels.
In a video released on Tuesday, June 17, Official Tuma revealed that the Nigerian police had asked him to be questioned.
As a law-abiding citizen, Tume welcomed the police invitation, adding that he was certain of his innocence.
I’m compelled to share with you that the Nigeria Police have invited me for questioning regarding a petition filed by Ned Nwoko, Regina Daniels’ husband. As a law-abiding citizen, I’m committed to cooperating with the authorities. I’m confident in my innocence and eager to clarify the matter. Since my lawyer, SM Oyeghe Seprebofa, is unavailable, his partner @ak_musa_ will represent me. I appreciate your support and understanding during this time. God bless you all,” he wrote.
A blogger stated in a video that Tuma had been taken into custody by the police a few hours later. The blogger claimed that Tuma’s future was not looking good because he might receive a court sentence and spend some time in jail.
